Imagination and Education

Riddle City Library is a unique social oasis and thriving center that promotes education, information and learning. The Library opened in June 2017 as an independent, nonprofit city library, supported by the City of Riddle and a group of dedicated volunteers. Guided by the standards of the American Library Association, operating Riddle City Library at the highest standard of excellence is our priority. Fostering a warm and friendly environment where families and friends can share in the joy and spirit of community, as well as providing patrons with a quality, current collection of materials is our goal. Riddle City Library encourages reading in every age group. We provide access to information via print and digital media, computer and internet access. The Library also hosts fun, extracurricular events and enriching programs for the community.

Riddle City Library is all about inspiring literacy and lifelong education. We are here to offer access to a vast range of information and resources for learning and entertainment. We hope to ignite imagination by providing materials, events and services our members may use to enhance their personal lives.

Your new and innovative ideas are always welcomed as we seek to adapt to the changing needs of our community. We are a space for people with ideas to gather and connect.

In addition to a very good selection of books, newspapers, magazines, CDs and DVDs, the library also offers public computers for internet access, email and social networking. We offer a selection of children’s programs, preschool story times, as well as teen and adult events. Our library features a cozy “fireplace” that creates a comfortable reading area, a book sale nook where you can find goodies for your personal collection and work space tables for public use. We often feature rotating exhibits with items for sale and for your enjoyment which reflect the talent of the local community. Free WiFi is available around the clock inside the library as well as outdoors. And visitors will be delighted to note that we offer a selection of books which require no check-out!

Community
