HomeBound Service
We bring the library to you. Riddle City Library offers HomeBound Service to Riddle residents who are temporarily or permanently no longer able to come to the library on their own, but still want access to library materials. Library staff selects materials based upon individual readers’ interests and requests, and a volunteer delivers their items.
What items can I get?
Just about anything in our collection - large or regular print books, magazines, CD audio-books, and DVDs. We also have a large selection of eBooks and audio books available for your electronic devices - please ask us for details.
How long can I keep items?
The lending period for all items is three weeks. You may renew your items as long as a hold by another patron hasn’t been placed on the item. If you receive an overdue notice, please contact the library to renew the items, or arrange for their return.
When do you deliver and pick up?
We deliver and pick up items once a month. You send items back when the new items are delivered. You can always call Riddle City Library HomeBound Services to make other arrangements should this system not work for you.
