Riddle City Library – Summer Schedule
Kids ages 1-12
Your goodie bags with reading logs and free books will be available for pick-up at the library during June. Get started reading NOW!
Teens ages 12-18
Entries for the Scavenger Hunt, the Video Challenge and Guessing Contest at the library.
Adults
Get a chance to win the prize giveaway baskets and gift cards with each book you read.

July 9th at 11:30AM — Kids with a parent: SING-A-LONG and STORYTELLER
LaMar and Joe bring stories to life with music and laughter under the shade trees in the city park. (near the playground) Bring your own chairs or a blanket and enjoy an hour of magical fun and music.
July 16th at 2 PM — Adults only ROCK PAINTING with Carol Linton
Mandala rock painting demonstration where the patterns and colors are stunning! Try your hand at dot art. We supply everything. Limited space so call ahead to reserve your spot 874-2070 at the Community Center next door to City Hall and the Sheriff’s office.
July 23rd at 1 PM — TEENS! PAINT YOUR JEANS!
We supply the paint and craft materials. You bring your favorite jeans to paint with an artistic design. This is for ages 12-18. Wear old clothes too, just in case. Painting will be in the park pavilion.
July 30th at 11:30 — ROCK PAINTING FOR THE KIDDOS
Reading awards and prizes will be presented, and self-made ICE CREAM served too. This is our final program of the summer. (Don’t worry, social distancing will be exercised.) Paint two rocks and hide one somewhere in the park for someone else to find!
